Cops: Radnor perv got his jollies on girls' Facebook pages
Neil
Geckle posted on his Facebook page that he likes to come home and
“relieve myself of the days stresses” by looking at his Twi’lek bikini
calendar. According to “Wookieepedia” — the Star Wars version of
Wikipedia — the Twi’leks are a humanoid race of aliens, and the females
are considered exceptionally beautiful.
As strange as that is, Radnor police said Geckle, 19, had an even more disturbing pastime. He allegedly took photos of high school girls from Facebook, masturbated to them and then took pictures of his penis next to each girl’s photo after the act. He then posted those photos to the girls’ Facebook pages, police said.
A group of teen girls went to the Radnor police station on Feb. 29 to report the pictures, and Geckle turned himself in to police Thursday. He was charged with child pornography, designing obscene material and related offenses. He was remanded to prison when he couldn’t make his $100,000 bail, said Radnor Police Superintendent William Colarulo.
When the girls came to the station, they were so “hysterical” that Colarulo couldn’t understand them at first.
“I didn’t understand what they were talking about until one of them pulled out a picture,” he said. “As soon as we saw that, we knew we were dealing with something serious.”
The picture, printed off one girl’s Facebook page, was of Geckle’s penis next to a printout of that girl’s picture, police said. Three other girls were also victimized in the same way. Police said all four girls are Radnor High School students, three of whom are under 18.
According to police, Geckle would put the girls’ pictures on a desk in his grandma’s bedroom and ejaculate on them. Geckle would upload a picture of the result to the girl’s page.
Authorities managed to track the postings to Geckle even though he used a fake name and Facebook account, police said. Cops said Geckle didn’t know any of his victims and wasn’t friends with them on Facebook but was able to access their pictures through mutual friends on the site.
Colarulo said that case is “absolutely” considered child pornography and detectives are still working to find out if there are similar victims or other types of child pornography on Geckle’s computer.
When asked why he committed such lewd acts and posted them on Facebook, Geckle told police he “didn’t think it was a big deal,” Colarulo said.
“So hopefully, he’ll have time to think about it in his cell at night,” he said.
