Blog compares Nadal to giant rodent

A blog which compares photographs of Rafael Nadal to images of a capybara has become a sensation on the internet.

The postings on the blogging site Tumblr compare nine photographs of the king-size rodent with the Spanish tennis ace.
It shows the South American rodent and former Wimbledon champion in a variety of poses, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Both are seen snarling and staring, drinking from water bottles and with their heads wrapped in towels.
The web page, titled "Capybaras that Look Like Rafael Nadal", was created by Laurie Ainley, 26, a London-based web developer, as a "quick joke" after watching the Wimbledon final.
It was then followed by "a sunny Saturday afternoon I spent down Bristol zoo watching various mammals munch on bananas and rearrange their genitals".
Mr Ainley, from Farringdon, said he had "embarrassingly" spent hours "trawling through images of capybaras and their human counterparts".
"I came across it randomly but I noticed a striking similarity between Nadal and the capybara," he said. "It was too strong to ignore."
"The reaction to the site's been pretty overwhelming; what I put together as a quick joke has picked up more than 130,000 views across 165 countries in two weeks."
