A STRIPPER has been seriously injured after falling from a balcony during a lap-dance in the United States.
Cleveland police say the Lauren Block, 22, plunged about 4.5m during a performance for a customer.
The accident happened at Christie's Cabaret about 1am Wednesday United States time.
Police initially believed she may have been thrown off the club's balcony. But Pasquale Storino, 25, approached investigators and admitted he had been receiving a lap dance from Block on the club's second floor when she "grabbed the rail ... and tried to complete some sort of jump/dance move."
Storino said Block "accidentally went head-first over the rail".
Witnesses had earlier told police that two men had fled the bar after the woman fell from the balcony.
A police report says they will not continue to investigate the mishap.
